Formula 1 competitor Liam Lawson revealed he came dangerously close to a life-threatening collision during Sunday's F1 event in Mexico when two safety personnel darted across the track immediately ahead of his car
The alarming incident took place on the third rotation when marshals were seen on the racing surface as Lawson was returning to the race following an quick visit to the pits to change his compromised front wing
Shortly afterward, Racing Bulls driver Lawson communicated to his race engineer saying: "Are you kidding me? Did you just see that? I could have... killed them"
